Just taking a moment to write some words to honor the great Akira Toriyama and to express how much impact his art had in my life (︶︹︺)
The genius behind Dragon Ball showed all of us how a masterpice is a mix of creative freedom, imagination and technique.
Toriyama’s unparalleled creativity has been a guiding light in my own art journey, pushing the boundaries of what I thought possible in storytelling and art. Dragon ball might be the first Japanese anime I ever watched, even before my beloved Inuyasha. Being able to grow up experiencing such an incredible universe, with unique worlds, characters and powers, was not only a privilege, but a fundamental influence that made me take the art journey I’m in right now ♡
Let’s cherish the incredible impact of his work and share the ways it has touched our lives. His legacy is a testament to the power of creativity and imagination.
I feel it’s time to catch up with the all the recent Dragon Ball series and movies, and experience Toriyama’s universe once again ✧٩(ˊωˋ*)و✧
